Also, always meeting the Minimum Basic Data Set (MBDS) criteria by using International Disease Classification, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM)

Process

Codification processes are carried out by our experts, with more than ten years of experience, which are involved in the whole document management process, to obtain a quality codification, preserving the client’s confidentiality and meeting the deadlines set by the centres.

Quality

Qdoc, making sure its work is quality during every step of the documentary process, will do:

  • Internal audits, with the objective of checking the quality of the codification periodically.
  • Solicitudes of additional information,to the person designated by the centre, in case there are flaws in the remitted reports.
  • *For free, we make an evaluation of the quality of the received reports periodically. In the case of the external codification, Qdoc may send an additional summarised report to the company. The report will include information on how to improve the company’s documentation. As well as how to improve their resources and provide the hospital with useful tools to improve the quality of the certificate of discharge.

*In case of asking for an in-depth report, an additional charge will be applied.

Confidentiality

Our use of codification has the basic aim of offering a quality service, sticking thoroughly to deadlines and respecting the confidentiality, always following the law. (Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos 15/1999). In which Qdoc will be in charge of the Treatment, and will always look after the confidentiality of the data allowed by the hospitals, which will play the role of In Charge of Directory.

Optimal and liable deadlines

The deadlines will be set beforehand and can be modified depending on the centres’ needs.
